Monday 15th August: There's life in the old dogs yet !!

This is the Whistler Public Library which is right opposite our hotel....... just in case I get withdrawal symptoms !!!

Well folks today we have had the very best day, I'm awaiting the official photos which I will post at a later date as we weren't about to take my camera out on this  adventure...
We went Zip-lining and it was awesome. We did 5 lines over 3 hours. After being supplied with our helmets, harnesses and tracks/wheels, we had instructions on what to do especially how to stop !! We were then taken up the mountain in a very old Austrian military all terrain vehicle to the first line, the nursery line. The company we went with, Zoom, are the only ones in Whistler with dual lines so you can go down in pairs which adds to the fun. The second line was called Godzilla and was the longest and fastest and it was soooooooo great. It's an amazing feeling flying through the air in the mountains amongst the beautiful scenery. For me it would only be surpassed by doing it in the winter with everything covered in snow.
As soon as the photos come through, they email them and then I have to download, I shall post them but don't get too excited there are only 3 or 4. I did use an old once only camera but haven't found anywhere here to get them developed.
It certainly is an adrenalin rush !!
