Ok folks nothing much to report today no pics for you but we have had a good day, just an easy 4 hour drive over the mountains and up the east coast to Campbell River. We left Tofino and the mountains on a very grey morning and arrived here to lovely sunshine. We stopped at a quiet beach for our packed lunch and arrived at Heron's Landing Hotel and Suites, an extended stay type hotel, by 3pm and had time to go on a reccy of the local area. Very nice spot on the waterfront, we have a mega sized fridge and cooker, my boy has a beer in his hand and all is well............
We are here for 3 days, hopefully lots of hiking and whale watching.............
Some folk are having trouble leaving comments on the blog (oh no!) I have posted what we think is the solution in the comment section of yesterday's blog. I have also changed the settings to Google accounts so probably won't work now if you are trying it through Facebook.....
The trick seems to be you leave comment do the word verification and then sign in.....
