| For those of you that have followed our previous blogs and especially the one of our big USA adventure last year you will know we love waterfalls, so hey we have found our first one on this trip !!! In Elk Falls Provincial Park, there are 3 dams and a Hydro Eelectic plant where we parked the car. It was then a 2 km hike up.....the first stage about 70 steep steps and then a very steep trail to the falls. |

| Back down the river fishermen try their luck.We were talking to a local who said at this time last year you couldn't see the river for the salmon. He said they are in the narrows at the moment (not too sure where that is) and in 4-5 days time they will be here......... |

| The 50th Parallel marker just across from out hotel We have had another really good day. We walked about 10 km a large portion of it up or down very steep slopes and not easy walking but a good challenge. We even saw a mountie, she was in a car and not in red uniform but we now have 2 out of three and as the big man said that aint bad...... |
